27-Year Pharmaceutical Marketing Leader Ruth Desmond Joins Stream57
NEW YORK, NY — Stream57, the leading provider of fully customizable webcasting and streaming media communications, is proud to announce that pharmaceutical industry veteran Ruth Desmond has joined the company as Vice President, Healthcare, bringing nearly three decades of experience, knowledge and success to the virtual communications software company. Dr. Desmond assumed the role at the beginning of the new year.

Dr. Desmond began her career in R&D for Eli Lilly and Company and Merck & Co., Inc., but soon took positions in strategic product planning and marketing, most recently serving as Executive Director, Global e-Marketing for Merck. Having worked with Stream57's StreamLine webcasting and media delivery platform for a variety of products and divisions, Dr. Desmond is very familiar with the advantages of using emerging technology in the pharmaceutical and medical marketing business.
