Stream57 Launches StreamLine 2.8 — The Latest Flash-Based Webcasting Platform With New Integrated Learning Management Features
NEW YORK, NY — Stream57, the leading provider of fully customizable webcasting and rich media solutions for online communications, has announced the launch of StreamLine 2.8 – the latest version of Stream57’s Adobe Flash-based streaming media software platform, with new features such as fully integrated e-learning tools including integrated test, evaluation, content and course management. These major updates to the StreamLine: Educate module’s learning management capabilities enhance and affirm Stream57’s position at the forefront of the webcasting and e-learning industry through StreamLine’s customizable, interactive and user-proven streaming media platform.
StreamLine 2.8 includes a series of new features that make the creation and administration of successful e-learning and training programs easier and more comprehensive for everyone from major institutions to self-producers.
Major learning management features include:
- Content management — Administrative users can upload files to a content library for end-users to download and review outside of the live or on-demand webcast programs.
- Test creation — Administrative users now have the ability to create graded or ungraded tests, surveys and evaluations directly in the StreamLine 2.8 administration area. A variety of options for test elements are available, such as short answer, multiple choice with multi-select answers, content areas, grid ratings and more. The tests are now entirely Flash-based, allowing for a greater degree of customization and participant interaction.
- Course management — Administrative users can create a curriculum or series of activities that represent a learning objective when combined. Activities such as presentations, tests and certificates can now be ordered and required for a participant to advance from the program.
